Photo project by two young Ukrainian women, Inna Stelmakh and Lena Riis.

In the spring of 2023, two Ukrainian women, Inna Stelmakh and Lena Riis, who have lived in Denmark for several years and completed their education at Media College Denmark, travelled to Ukraine to photograph women's lives in the shadow of war. The result was the photo exhibition ‘Light in the Darkness’, which depicts the light in the darkness created by the lives and efforts of Ukrainian women.

As part of the cultural weekend ‘Light in the Darkness’, the exhibition ‘Light in the Darkness’ opens at 16.30.

In connection with the opening of the exhibition, an event will be held at the Langeland Visitor Centre, where at 16:30 there will be an opportunity to hear about being a Ukrainian refugee on Langeland, and Ukrainian treats will be served.
