Svendborg Pinsekirke

The Pentecostal congregation in Svendborg was founded in 1926. The first many years the congregation met in different places in town. About 1975 the congregation bought some land in the middle of town, where they built the church in 1976 with associated premises. A very fine and special feature about the church is its very special roof construction, called a “hyperbolic paraboloid”, the fundamental idea being the geometric figures, the hyperbole and the paraboloid.
