A 24-hour event in our common fight against cancer

‘Walk the Line’ is a 24-hour charity event that takes place from Friday 13 September at 18:00 to Saturday 14 September at 18:00 in Bagenkop. The event is centred around the ‘Passionate Footpath,’ where participants can walk and take part in a range of activities in support of Knæk Cancer.

Friday starts with an opening ceremony at 17.45, followed by the start of the ‘Walk the Line’ at 18.00. Keys to the Dagli' Brugsen padlock will be on sale and can be purchased from Key-Marlene or Key-Jan on the square. The evening offers street food, KindiBingo, mini golf, padel courts, Zumba by Night, and several events in Bagenkop Church, such as concerts, light show and memorial service.

Saturday begins with sunrise at 6.49am and free morning coffee. Participants can choose to take part in activities such as a petanque tournament, creative workshops for children and a performance by Jo Jo the Clown. Throughout the day there will be activities for the whole family, such as mini golf, padel and playground games.

The event ends on Saturday at 18.00 with the announcement of the amount raised for Knæk Cancer, the awarding of trophies and prizes for various competitions and a colourful show in the Community Park.
