The Castle Route: Spodsbjerg-Bagenkop

On the stage between Spodsbjerg and Bagenkop you can experience beautiful nature as well as stories from the Cold War.

The stage is 44 km and is mostly flat without any steep hills. The stage is primarily asphalt with only a few exceptions.
Experiences on the route
Make time for a visit to Skovsgaard Gods. Here you can soak up knowledge about nature and enjoy a lunch at their cozy cafe. They offer experiences for children and adults. You can also book one or more nights in one of the historic farmhouses.
The route takes you straight through the courtyard at Broløkke Herregård. Enjoy the view of the historic buildings while cycling by or take a break and stay longer.
Take a detour to Dovns Klint - the most southern point on Langeland with fantastic views of the sea. Do not miss the wild horses along the route.
At the harbor in Bagenkop, the children can sail with Rasmus Klump, while parents / grandparents can watch the active fishermen at work.
